They came into the studio, on a whim. They werent too sure as to whether they wanted thier photo taken together or not. I think this result shows this attitude. However they did get better! Click to toggle zoom ![]() |

Thanks Else,
I think that this is a great example of what a sitter/sitters may look like at the beginning of a shoot. Eventually they settled down and enjoyed it, with much more relaxed images I hasten to add.

could you post some of the other shots Phil so we can see them when they have chilled out a bit more? Nrs is a master at getting clients to relax. I have the same probs at the start of many shoots where the client is often a wee bit uncomfortable being placed in front of a cam. It can still take time to 'bring them down' Not everytime but on occasion.

Sure thing,
here's one of my fav poses. She still looks like a rabit staring into the full beam of headlights, but I think that is a natural expression.

I like the pose. She has great eyes mate. I think you are right that she looks like this naturally. If she tightened her lips a tad and maybe slightly narrowed those amazing eyes, it would have lifted her cheeks and given her a more appealing look. Tricky one

Cheers for the advice on pic mate.
I have suddenly found myself in a situation of an amazing studio space 15' 6" x 31' and people walking in off street. I now have to learn to think on my feet. (No more luxury of having time to pre-organise shoots with hours to spare). That could be the difference between a true pro and a wannabe

Andy (donkey) has always worked in a larger studio. He is the one who's brain to pick on this one. The largest amount I had in studio conditions was 5 mate. Andy has gone well beyond that.
You'll be fine bud. Nice amount of area you have. POST MORE PICS!!!!! |

I have worked outside with 200+ and the best form of lighting available (the sun). But I am very ware that studio is a different kettle of fish, I am not affraid to tackle it, but I am not used to the time factors involved and the implications of gettng it wrong. No complaints yet though.
