I do like your portraits very much, including this one. They always seem to me to have an extra dimension, and if I'm honest I'd have to say it's sensuality. Nothing wrong with that though. Very good shot.

Thanks you Rob for the comments and the right word. Sensual. I could only think of 'sexy' but it didn't seem to gel as most of my sitters are daughters of friends.

Hey Alex , nice shot

not too keen on the hair sticking near the bottom rhs...the exposure and lighting is spot on...her expression would easily lend itself to a really dark and brooding lighting setup in bw...top dollar dude...wish i could do more stuff NOT on a white BG. dont really get the time...or models

Hi Andy, thanks for the crit. I never noticed that hair sticking out (mesmerised by the big eyes?) I still like my black and whites on a black BG and want to do more with it, but I think I will need a better lighting set up. One day, I shall be rich???
Hi Jason, thanks for the comment, glad you like it.

Overall I think that it's nice and clean, and above all it hasn't been overprocessed.
The little bit of hair doesn't bother me at all, minor problems just don't count in my books.
And what a gorgous colour of hair it is too. I think you could have made for some wonderful tones
with a little bit of light play.

She still looks a little tence Alex, maybe you should have tried for a few more shots just to see
what happens. Nice effort tho.

Cheers,
Joseph

Thanks Joseph, going to sit her lit from the window next time. Like all youngsters, they don't have time to relax.

Cheers Paul, I hope its your monitor or my new glasses are going back. lol Just pulled original up, that looks OK.
I can see I could have done a better job cloning odd bits of hair.
