Again a great shot well executed except the people in the background detract from the guitar IMO. I love what you have done to the guitar and its isolation and would love to see it with out the people in shot would make a nice album cover then I think.

Hi Paul I agre with Nik, in respect of the distraction in the background. However it would be nice to know what the album was called, because this could be relevant to the picture.

Could be a good idea for an assignment. Lets think of a suitable title for Pauls album cover. eg: Black and white memories of bygone Blackpool. And then upload it with the title graphics in place. Or.......Better still take a photgraph of our own and adapt it to represent a ficticious album complete with title and band name.

I really like this but agree about the people
cropped to show just the guitar on the rocks would be lovely!

Now I don't mine the people in the background as they are well out of focus, but I would like to see the foreground in focus especially the bottom left and right hand corners.

I think the selective focussing has been cleverly achieved. emphasizing the guitar and pulling it out to stand out from the distracting foreground and background. I would assume this was done due to the purpose of the image and its relationship with music.

Now that you have cropped it, the LP won't fit anymore .
