This is my first effort ... for Jan 2, 2009 ... Actually was going to try to get a photo of this jug and enter it into the Glass challenge.

And for my second effort for Jan 3, 2009 ... thought that u just might like to see a snow scene .. lol ... Stones Covered in Snow ... I know not a very original name .. but sometime the mind goes blank .... lol

Well done for starting this - that makes 4 of us now. It doesn't matter if some shots are not all that great (I'm sure some of mine won't be), the important thing is it makes you think more about photography and opportunities on a daily basis. I'm sure we will all improve by doing this. Your first two are a good start, I especially like the snow shot.

It might be useful to have 2-3 simple ideas on standby, so if you have a very busy day and run out of time you can just get the camera out and do something in 10 minutes. A burning candle done as a macro shot - that sort of thing.

Agreed, I like the snow shot aswell, we are suffering the cold weather here but not getting the snowfall. Last night I was walking on grass and the blades weren't bending!
I have about 12 ideas written down in the front of my diary so if I have a difficult day I don't even need to think about it just pick one and shoot.

2 nice shots Else. I particularly like the snow shot as it's well composed and the exposure seems just right

Would love to join in but not sure I could commit to a shot a day for the rest of this year

My youngest has been suffering with the dreaded flu since New Years eve. He actually seems a bit better this morning but needed to cancel yesterday as he was still poorly and very clingy. Never mind we are planning to reschedule
