As we discovered yesterday, that my IQ may not be that high, I wasn't really following the intent of this thread. But to be fair now..I've got it.
Lorraine when I saw your image go up, I thought that you had got it in the wrong thread....this is such a gorgeous image!!!!!!...my thoughts were that you were trying to upload it in the contest... (AND, why didn't ya)?

I be very curious to know how you got this shot??

Now, that my IQ has jumped a bar...I'm going to enter poets corner...I love doing Haiku

Hi ya Fay, i didn't submit it to the contest as it's already in my gallery and linked to a thread. It was taken at Lee Abbey in Devon, i waited for around an hour or 2, waiting for the sun to arrive in the right place lol, then tweeked the levels in PS to give a slight purple hue to the sky. It's part of a set of 3 crosses on the hill at the Abbey. Thanks for the comments

Well Loopy, I still think this is a prize winning image.
When you see the image that I'm about to put up, it may make you prideful, all over again.

I did this picture some time ago when I had a very simple editing system, where one could kinda merge on picture over another (not quite layer).

Here is my Haiku: they are to have 17 syllables

hot water and soap
face and dishes in same sink
multi-task woman

LOL Fay, great to see you joining in. Haven't really got to grips with layers and merging one over another shot yet, work in progress lol - or should that be on the "training" list lol.

We are good at doing so many things at once lol

Although, not when i'm on the computer, people have to kick me to get my attention LOL

Dearest Lorraine,
please accept my sincerest apologies for not commenting on your wonderful and lustrous photograph.
I can assure you that a speedy and forthright preamblance was indeed being prepaired for remmittance...
Unfortunately a stray and mischievous strand of tobbacco dropped from my clay pipe and set fire to my velvet smoking jacket...
After extinguishing the preposterous fellow much burning of chest hair was found,hence a trip to and subsequent stay of three days was ensued at the local cottage hospital..
Rest assured i value each and everyone of my learned friends whom have seen fit to grace us with their own pieces and this oversight will not occur again...
