Never had a grifter. Remember them though...big chunky tyres and frame. I did have a chopper though! second hand because Dad was far from rich. I loved that thing...playing card wedged in the spokes and held in place by a peg on the frame...clack clack clack clack! With me best mate Nicky douby'd up on the back of that huge seat!

I love Nostalgia....probably because I left the UK a year after college to come here and work, quite bizzare in the fact that I have spent more of my life here but am still an avid England supporter in rugby, footie and cricket. I won first prize as "The Best Dressed England Supporter" at our lifesaving club at the rugby world cup final....the fact that I was the only one didn't matter LOL I did us proud!!!

Anyway Tco, ta very much for the link....I have already said hi to Scott Tracey my first and only (sad innit) true love and am off back to find more.....pass the kleenex moments

Strange how music does that Barry.

Music triggers off so many things in the old grey matter. The thing I love about music so much is the images that zoom through my minds eye. I see music as well as hear it.

Before mr.Nrs says anything...yes it may well be the result of years of doing terrible things to myself by ingesting and smoking things that maybe I should not have. Ah the blissful and pathetic ignorance of youth! (speaking for myself, at myself of course!)

you know what mate, i dont care how much you take the p*ss, i love it! William has been back and forwards to hospital over the last 3 weeks. headscans, eeg's etc.. had a 3 day stay last week. I really needed to read that, made me smile. cheers mate. as you say, big poofy man hugs and sloppy (no tongue) kisses at ya!!

ive just realized how poor we really was.... i did not have many toys i think i had a cindy doll, thatll explain my misled teenage years

i used to have to spin my record player by hand to get it to work at a reasonable speed... those were the days, its funny really the poorest days of my life have been the happiest
