Off-Topix

Our poor cat was bitten by a brown snake late last night! Of course we didn't realise until I woke up this morning and it was partially paralysed. Thankfully with the anti venom, it should make a full recover barring nothing goes wrong but still scary to think about it. While I'm not terrified of snakes and will happily get close enough with shovel, I don't like the idea of them coming into the house.

Well that's my random news of the day.. time to turn the air con on (41 deg here today )

Well you're welcome to come fry some eggs on our driveway LOL.. they've dropped us down to 39 now which is slightly better. I prefer the heat to the cold but it's so the air is so dry here it can get a bit much after a week of it. Thankfully there is rain in sight though.

Sorry to hear about your cat I really hope alls well and gets better soon.

Well here its seriously windy...this morning the wind was so bad it woke me up at 4ish, and nothing much wakes me up lol I sleep through everything, and again this morning looking out of the living room windy its horrible and dark, cloudy and random bits of rubbish from neighbours bins are flying past, and I keep hearing something hitting something...can't work out where its coming from but guessing the wind is blowing something about causing it....oh and now its started to rain so its pretty dismal here lol feels more like Winter than Autumn

you can say that again...the weather has been particularly weird the last year or so....it seems to have quietened down outside now, not so windy
