New Year Legend (I am Legend like Will Smith)

New Year stories........Wife spilt beer at 4a.m. i wiped it up with someone else's sandwich (well it is absorbent) then when i got home (5.30a.m.) dropped left eye contact lens on floor in kitchen found it after treading on it! still wearing it now, well they are piggin expensive and you cant waste them.....

12:00 midnight my 19 year old son calls me from the downtown New Years celebrations at Nathan Phillips Square to wish me a happy New Year. Awesome! Nice of him to call and remember me even though he's out with his friends.
1:30am my very inebriated 19 year old son calls me from downtown hotel to wish me a happy New Year, again, but doesn't realize it, can barely get the words out. He's wasted, but sounds happy and is in his hotel room.
9:00am my sober 19 year old son calls me from the downtown hotel to appologize for waking me at 1:30am with a second phone call.
Hey, any time my son wants to call me to tell me he loves me, is a good time in my books!
Very thankful he's smart enough not to drink and drive and that he's safe and happy and healthy.
Happy New Year everybody and here's hoping it's a happy, safe and healthy year for us all.
