Thats a shame, i quit from 30 a day 30yrs ago never had one since! As a Sony convert i know nothing about Nikon's

i haven't owned one but from 8 months reading forums i don't think you will be disappointed, people seem to love them to bits

Did you konw that if the frsit and last letrtes in a word are kpet in the same oredr, the rset can be meixd up, yet you wlil stlil be able to raed it pferclety

There are lots of good quality used D200's out there at very good prices with warranty if brought from a good camera shop.

Hi Brian,
I'd still encourage you to quit! LOL.
But regarding the D80, I'm really pleased with mine and wouldn't be without it.
I just tried to think of something negative to say about it, but honestly I can't, mine has about 25,000 shots on it and feels just like new, took 445 shots today and 32% battery remaining, the battery is 18 months old!
There are a couple of features I'd like off the D300, but it's easy to work with what you have and I think it's silly to knock a camera down for something it doesn't have against a higher level camera that's a year newer.

Hi Merv, I forgot that you use a D80, so you should be the idea person to recommend this camera, as you have produced some superb images on this site with it.
