There was no section for my favourite assignment, i really love Macro work but it takes a lot of prep and effort to do properly so i dont get to do as much as i would like.

i wouldnt have seen macro as an assignment, if it was a product, then it poss would have come under studio, if it was flowers etc, then landscape or wildlife...i would have said macro photography is a division of a greater subject?? what do you think Big guy??

Maybe, i just think its a subject and a skill all on its own. I suppose grudgingly it comes into other cats as well.

i just love to take pictures of anything that captures my imagination but sometimes its about being in the right place at the right time!

I'm a bit of a couch potato, so it's studio that gets my vote. Landscape & sports involves too much leg work. lol.... However, it is like TCO said, total control of lighting.

For me, landscape as a hobby since I'm always out with the dog, but definitly night, with all the varying lighting, textures reflections etc
