Default violin1 of five

Photographers Comments
This is one of a series of five shots of my wifes violin. If it looks a bit tatty then that is because it is over 200 years old. I have used a radial gradient layer for the blur and sharpened it in lab mode then boosted the reds and yellows just a tiny bit. I have tried to convey the feeling of age via the Photoshop work.

The colours and aging work well and give a nice period feel to it to go with its age. I find myself scanning the image for more in focus though, and feel that if the strings holder (?) was in focus the image would be much stronger.
