Nice idea, and well composed, I think monochrome works well as it should show good skin texture. But this image has burnt out a bit above and below eye on left, I'm sure that it will be worth retaking this shot again being more careful about lighting, also would have liked to see a bit more detail in eye iris. But as already said a nice idea and I'm sure it will work very well.

By the way did you use self timer and tripod or a second person.

yeh i see your point, lighting cold be better and the next one will focus on the iris. i did use self timer/tripod, took a few times to get position right though
