You've done well with this, Mike. I like how you have kept the stamen sharp and thrown the rest out of focus with the narrow DOF. Personally, i would have slightly darkened everything except the focus area to make the stamen 'pop' (ooer, missus!), but thats just my taste.
Hopefully we will get to see some of your shots from Loch Long too (smashing area!).

Finally got there mate, i am not admin and cant delete anything. Been here so long i do know my way about the site. Paul is our main admin guru, however the thread will probably just get ignored, If you really want it sorted i can ask Paul Let me know!
Nice shot by the way, talk to you about extension tubes if you want to do serious Macro. Have a look at my flower images and Tawnys insects they are taken with Tubes. TCO's fly is probably the best example of tube extensions on here as well.
