Hi Fay .. wtg .. not wasting time are u .. lol .. great comp .. excellent macro ... good detail .... by the way .. the (wild) (yellow) flower that u have posted a few times when it goes to seed like a dandelion, the flower is called a sow thistle .. was wandering around the net and ran into it .. lol,

Very nice capture, Faye. My preference is blooms in natural surroundings, the play of the blue against the green-with-lilac(?)background works well and the depth of field gives a good separation.

Wow...my life has been so busy...so nice to check in and see all the comments..so nice
Else....thanks SO much for the sow thistle info....just did one today.
Just did a google...not sow thistle.....my buds are VERY elongated..the seed balls are HUGE
