Default Beady eyes.

Photographers Comments
This female Orb spider looked me right in the face when i found her in a plant in the garden, she had a full egg sack that she is carrying on her abdomen. Would of liked her front legs more in focus but she was on the move which made focusing a bit tricky with the tubes.
She is about as big as my thumb nail.

Always hated creepy crawlies and spiders e.t.c, learning to love them thanks to you mate. Brilliant image, love it. Just keep her babies down your end (Essex, not a part of your body!!).

Funny how i works isnt it, i hated spiders to the degree of panic attacks when i saw one, but since i braved it and started to take their pictures, read up on them etc, iv become quite a fan(i think its still more of..lets get a picture, than true love), but to this day i still cant get over my fear of snakes, a different matter here, i physically feel sick when i see them, and when im out in the fields im constantly alert in case they are around, especially if the dogs are with me...even though snakes are protected species... sorry but bite my dog.....loose your head snake! But again i have come across adders and grassnake and after the initial stomach twisting (thats me by the way, not the snake)i still manage to get that picture, but i have come to respect wildlife like this, i just keep telling myself im invading their habitat so upsetting them and damaging their surroundings is avoided at all times in avoidance of getting stung or bitten

Hope i have'nt put you off my friend, im still waiting for that X factor shot!

well, you did pretty good, considering the circumstances. My first impression was like this would be a talking spider on a Disney movie...looks like a character..guess it's because of the eye-contact.

I still have the memory, as a little girl, watching my mother trounce one of these as it scurried across the floor. Something to behold..was like an explosion..babies everywhere.
