I think it was the American Chap Art that showed these recently and they are for sure a lovely Bud. The Birds must luuuuurve them *tweet* *tweet*
Hmmmmmm ... something *constructive* ... hmmmmm...
remember that stuff the Lad got the info on? Black Velveteen? Well, I would start to experiment with putting it behind the Flowers ... give the wee Blooms a *squirt* of Water to freshen them, use a Tripod (especially if You and Fred have been on the pink gin) and concentrate on One Heart.
Ok ... My advice may seem complicated and drawn out ... but if You have time on Your Hands, then give it a go

Hi Tedz ... nice new Avatar .. you change your avatar as often as often as I change my .... ???? lol yes I will try that hopefully the rain that we had yesterday has not destroyed all of the bleeding hearts .. will have a try tomorrow .. and my son brought me some of that duvateen .. not sure of the spelling of that black fabric ... plus I do have black velvet .. as well .. Thanks for stopping by and pointing me in the right direction .. can definitely see what you mean ...

Nice shot Else. I love these flowers. If you try to redo a picture keep in mind that the flowers don't live very long. The red branches will soon be green and the flowers will be gone. I like the way the flowers seem to get smaller as you look down the branch. Art

Hi Tedz and Art .. Lol .. Tedz ... I think it is about time I did a bit of a change ... getting tired of wearing that orange face .. lol .. Thank you Art .. for that .. I was going to try to take some photos today .. but the weather is not wonderful here .. clouds and sprinkles .. of rain .. Hope that there is better weather in store for us tomorrow ...

and re: With an overcast day ... this is the best time to shoot Flowers, being in full Sun brings out no justice to the Blooms. Flowers Photograph better in the shade, especially for a Beginner who may not have all the whizz bang filters ... and if there is sprinkles of Rain ... well, You will not need that Spray Bottle will You?
So no excuse Else ... *in and at 'em* *salute*
