Photographers Comments
Sixteen,yes, sixteen (I didnt breathe for 30 secs) manually focused shots merged in Helicon stacking software. Processed in Photoslop.

Very nice image. I am hoping to take similar now I have the right gear. Very sharp and crisp. I cannot find anything to crit about this one.

Hi Rob super duper shot did you do this to give you full DOF right through the shot so many exposures in shallow DOF to give one sharp shot?? Lighting superb, framing spot on as well love it mate one for a frame if mine.

perfect in my estimation...love those little hairs and even they are not blown out!

Thanks for the comment. Helicon Focus is what you need (about 30 dollars and a bargain) It's really easy to use.

I did it to get the whole flower in focus. You don't have to do that, you could take enough shots to get say the front two thirds in focus then have the rest as a standard macro shot with fade out. Thanks for the comms.

Did my rawlplugs macro with it, got it on trial, did 6 shots all with narrow DOF and it combined them at the click of a mouse. not expensive either! This shot is the dogs doodies though!
