Hi Dennis, very cool shot! I love the colouring.
I think the angle would be better if you turned slightly so we could see more of the ant. Having said that, it looks pretty cool in profile too.
I wonder if the flower would look better if the stem was also coloured to give it a base or anchor.
Great detail and nice creativity.

Hi thanks for the comment here is the colour version, i take your point about the ant however when you are on a tripod, with very small DOF and the ant walks away you only have one option-Click! Was using my extension tubes to get close and it severely narrows your focus range, this bud is about 20mm across only.

Not sure about the selective colour Dennis. You're going great guns with those extension rings aren't you. Nice idea matey
