Default Kenco Macro second go

Photographers Comments
This shot is is with one 36mm tube and HSS sync flash. This i know is not technically perfect (DOF not quite right) but i am just exploring the possibilities and these kenco adaptors have opened up a whole new range of possibilities to my camera.

While you may not be happy with the DoF, I for one find it adds greatly to the overall image. Great image for a second attempt.

Not bad going for your 2nd only shot. Lovely delicate texture on those leaves. Keep going and get posting more

Creative use of depth of field has been used in advertising for years mate. Looking good. If you want more and you are already on the best aperture then simply shoot, re-focus, shoot, refocus and layer in the focus in photoshop or use a focus stacking prog like 'combine zm'.

Great start mate!

Here is a link for the download.

Cheers Guys, TCO will have a go at that as well.

They really do work, but only past the 50mm mark on 18-200 zoom as any less than this and you are touching the subject and thats with only 2 of the 3 tubes on.

Quite pleased with the results, considering the light was rubbish and i was handholding my flash on wireless mode!!!

Cable release, off camera flash, extension tubes i had money before i joined this site lol

Brilliant Den for a second attempt, i love the different DOF these tubes allow, giving images especially flowers some great effects.

Really brave using all the tubes! but when controlled the details are amazing, you can use zooms as well, i have used the 70-200 and the 100-400 with all or single tubes, its the great thing of experimenting with them, but i always return to my 50mm and the 12mm for my prefered DOF and detail.
Keep at it...you boys are too clever!

Well girls have the ideas and boys follow them through (JOKE!!!!!!) Wouldnt have thought about them if you hadnt mentioned them to TCO and he did is flies up with them. Good alternative to spending shed loads on a dedicated lens for an amateur like me!!!

Thanks for the support Bev, i do appreciate it.
