yesterday, I joined a group of ladies at the Garden Patch for a luncheon (hens party). Directly across from me was this art piect hanging on the wall. I didnt think much of it, until I started chewing on my 2nd Nanaimo Bar; the facial expression, instantly changed to this!...Im not making this up.

Oh my word it's Shrek!! Interesting piece of art but I dont think I'd want him hanging on my wall

Fay, didnt know TCO had been to Canada that is so scary, wouldnt want it in my house it would freak me out everytime i looked at it! Like the capture though

Quite a creepy mask/sculpture. I think I couldn't eat with something like that looking down at me....something that looks nothing at all like me whatsoever..oh no..not one little bit.

good morning everybody!...so relieved that noone called me a liar.

Must admit though, that i'm surprised by all of your reactions. This one doesn't bother me...not like the other piece that is hanging on the wall.
I think I'm 'odd man out', for I always see other people shiver when they glance at this, so guess this is not just a Lilloetonian reaction. T
The man that owns this eatery is the artist; I think he said one time, something about it being a representation of a 'moongod' (maybe that post between his ears is the axis??)

This is a group of about 20 funny, strong, independant woman who get together near the end of every month. I'm flattered that i've been invited to be part of it. We make an effort to patronize all of the eating establishments but just not on the same day. When the weather gets nicer we have our own outside BBQ
