Whats a finger piano? You (nearly) ticked all the boxes! No Flash and it doesnt look like it was outdoors to me either!! I tend to fix the options say macro if thats want you want to accept and then do another random press until i get indoors. Because sometimes all the options arent possible say....your town as the subject...but indoors as the location?

Liked it anyway!

Hi Dennyboy, thanks for your comments. It was taken outside on the picnic table this morning, no flash, natural light on Macro.

I was unsure what to do with the boxes on the Personal Project - do I have to tick them? I didn't tick any, just accepted it.

Oh, and by the way, a finger piano is made from half a coconut shell, piece of wood over the top with a hole in it and some thin strips of metal tuned to different notes - very musical. I picked it up at the Eden Project last year.

The idea of the buttons is.....

you got off camera flash as an option say this is not technically possible because of your camera or you just dont have an off camera flash unit but you like the idea of the rest of the project and you can do all the other options you fix all (tick) except the flash option and then click until you either get on camera flash which you can do, or no flash which suits the time of day e,t,c.

Hope this helps! Now i know what a finger piano is sort of!!!

Dennis.

I love those PP's i have done 9 now!!

Question

Thanks again Denny Boy - so, what is an off camera flash - is it a flash that is not connected to the camera? Sorry to sound so dumb but I am still getting to grips with all that 'technical' stuff. I must admit I read the box wrong - thought it meant no flash at all!! (I only have a flash that is attached to the camera just above the lens (not ideal I know, but then it is a Fuji S6500fd).

Off camera flash is a flash unit(one or more) that is either triggered wirelessly by the main camera or can be connected by wire but away from the camera. so instead of the flash on the camera casting shadows behind the subject the light is more balanced when lit from either side as well.

I am sounding like ASDA Greeter.......Always....Happy to help!!

Lol, thanks Denny. I am learning something new every day (or in today's case, 5000 things).
