[PP]Shiny BW
Photographers Comments
Finally, got round to doing my first PP. The wife was out for most of the day and tonight, it doesnt happen much so dont expect too many PPs from me lol I didnt want to do something silver/steel based as this seemed too easy.. i went for glass and sun and tried for refractions, glare and flare on the glass

Andy hesitant to critique any of your work mate Creep, Creep, it wasnt sunrise was it? (couldnt get up at 5am lol). It all looks a bit light to me see my take attached. I am finding these challenges really stretching me but then again i am new to Photography. Suppose this is out of your comfort zone though? Cant say i dislike it, but cant say it blew me away either!
Hope you dont think i am horrible! getting stressed about Critting you! You have always been nice about my images.

since posting some of my studio multis and the guitarist shots have noticed crits on my stuff slow down somewhat..either everyone's scared (try not not egotistical here ) or my stuffs gotten worse...it is one of the issues i think Paul was dealing with in trying to change the way images receive critique..
I am just happy you took the time to tell me why you didnt think it worked and took up you own time to try and show me something of how it could be improved, so it should be me thanking you, so Thanks!
Steve (Mello) did the same recently, told me he didnt like some of my work but also why..so lotsa brownie points to him too. i dont want to sound condescending here as i just feel grateful someone is looking at my stuff....rant over...was that ok or a bit to up my own arse??

Hi Andy, looked at this subject before and could not think of anything, you have done well here, as the paperweight looks shiny to me with those sun rays hitting it. But I do prefer Dennis version, yours looks a bit washed out.

Hi Brad, I like the concept you have here but it doesn't seem to translate well into B&W....I suppose thats why these projects are meant to strech us....... I would love to see the colour version of this as I expect it works much better!
I always look at your work but often times it's all been said by others and being the lazy thing I am I seem to leave without saying anything.......I expect I'm minus a few brownie points now lol
