I saw this giant diplopod during my holiday at Thailand. Love its color & thousand legs. Like a train makin a U-turn.

What wonderful colour! To give me an idea of scale, how big is that critter? Are they a common sight in Thailand?

Hi Steven,
I would not want to wake up with this fellow on the pillow beside me. As Paul stated great colours, I also like the catchlight areas down the back of the beastie. Maybe a little more DoF so the drop off of focus wasn't so harsh and sudden, but great shot.

i like the depth of field it still gives the idea of where the picture was shot and the insects natural surroundings.. very well shot and a challenge at 200mm

Hi Steven ... I also would hate to wake up and find this near me .. lol ... with all those legs .. yikes .. it's a lovely colour and also I like the comp .. of it .. Thanks for sharing ..

gorgeous...this train comes with it's own tracks....like how it's also going along the curve of the leaf..a subtle but pleasing touch

It is quite big. Bigger than I used to see. That is why it caught my eyes.

I feel the same too. The DOF is too narrow. I was underestimated my lens.
