cracking shot. i'd love to do some still life studies in flowers

maybe yellow on blue etc...

Thank you peeps for the great comments. I really did struggle with the lighting. I spent 3 evenings with Lillys, Gerberra & Roses, different coloured card backgrounds, 2 torches & coloured plastic wallets. The flowers were all pink, but the torch either too bright & bleaching out the colour in places, or with tissue over the lense made it rather dark. Major learning curve those 3 nights LOL :-)

Hi Lorraine, a cleaned plastic milk carton makes a nice diffuser, I think if you cut some out to fit the torch I think it would let more light through than tissue. The photo turned out great tho, I tried it a few weeks back but wasn't happy with mine, flowers were a nasty colour t.b.h...
