Photographers Comments
An adult Indian Stick Insects Head while sleeping. It points its front legs and antenna forward to look like the end of a stick. They live for around two years and nearly all are femail. they lay eggs with out the need to mate and if so all the eggs hatch as femail. They live on a diet of privet and ivy leaves.

Taken with my 400D and then croped and manipulated in PS.

C&Cs welcomed

Nik

Thanks Tco I just used a desk lamp I have that has a sort of glass diffused shade on it so instead of pointing the light at her I just put the shade by her. Its the eye that amazes me you cant see it with the naked human eye.

There our boys pets simple to keep and cheap also a good starting pet for kids.
