Default Something yellow

Photographers Comments
This is a marrigold (I think) I took it using extensions hand held so its not as sharp as Id like it to be. Time to check out Pauls handy new zoom facility.

Muriel,

I really like this shot. Can't beleive its handheld!! The beads of water look great against the yellow.

Had it just rained, or did you spray the subject with water to give the effect?

Hi Den

Ohh .. I'm glad it doesn't look handheld, the shake reduction on the pentax is pretty good. It does a weird thing when I put extensions on though - I can't adjust the DOF at all it just says F-- and I have no idea what f-stop I'm using. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Darren, pleased to meet you!
This is how I found the bloom it had rained earlier that morning but most of the garden had dried out.

Hi Muriel, good composition and I really like those water droplets, might be tempted to push the colours a bit more.

Hi Barry, thanks for that. I've adjusted it in curves and increased the saturation and it does look better but it's also made the blue patch in the bottom right hand corner stand out more and it keeps drawing my eye. What do you think?

Ditto all above Mu, thumbs up to the composition and the water droplets just finish it off perfectly.
