Devouring Daisy
Photographers Comments
I found this cute little beetle the other day , but it was too small to capture with my zoom lens . I went back to the same area yesterday with the H5 and managed to find one on a wild oxeye daisy .... Dont have a clue what the bug is . Click to toggle zoom

Glad they over there and not over here! Nice image yuk beetle. Reckon my bearded dragon would be happy to meet him.

What??? my poor little bug is yukky
 ....lizard food LOL  , I thought he was kinda cute  ..... I think your bearded dragon would go hungry over here , I walked 6 klm and only found one of these guys

Hi Donna .. it really is a weird looking beetle .. Excellent macro .. That was quite the walk to find one of these little critters ..

Thank you Else , I walk 6 klm a day , but I don't always take a camera .... that 6 k can too easily turn into 4 hours if I am packing a camera
Thanks for the comments Barry , glad you like it Thank you for the identification Chris ... I will have to google it now and see what I can learn about this beetle , I'm already liking the name better

I never really go near flower with bug; but I'm all in if it's a ladybird
I might have to rethink about it again.. because that beetle is totally pretty!

Great capture Donna, the colours work well together and you have composed it brilliantly, you'l have to get a close up of a big slug!! Denny's favourites

There are quite a few harmless and cute bugs out there besides the lovely ladybirds . Daisies are a good flower to watch , seems lots of little bugs and butterflys like them
