Default After The Rain
Photographers Comments
Image for the June 24, 2009/365 ... had rain today ... and used the G10 for the macro .. of an orange rose ..

Hi Donna. . Thank you .. find that the G10 can be really good for macros .. as long as I don't get shaky ...lol ... You wouldn't believe the fragrance of this rose. ... I took this from a cutting ... it's got tons of thorns on it .. but .. it is one of the most beautiful roses..

Hi OTPM and Zoe with 2 ..'s ... If you seen how shaky I am .. u would wonder how I manage a macro ... lol .. can I tell you it is sheer luck!! ... Zoe with 2 ..'s the fragrance is unbelievable. I just love bringing in one into the house .. and having it on our kitchen table .. come for a visit in the summer months then u can smell it ..

Amazing how their scents are all so different, i have recently planted a couple one being called "conservation" its a double petaled rose, pink wth darker shade of pink in the middle and the scent reminds me of the tradional rose smell which always takes me back to my visits at my nans house, her garden was full of roses.

Hi Bev, yes I too love the smell of roses . .at one time wore a rose fragrance perfume .. lol .. and it's things like that make you think of days gone by .. Maybe one day I will get to visit your garden ..
