Sharron I actually like this as a mono. I would love to see the colour but the subtle textures that have been revealed through mono are really good.
Maybe widen the crop a teeny tiny bit, but I really like this.

Havent seen this tried in mono, the tones are great, like it very much.

I also like the mono a lot.....have looked at most of them and I think I like this best.

How bizzare that I started to paint an orchid this week, mainly because I can't afford to buy the real thing right now

Hi Sharron, love the shot and the conversion, especially how you've captured the detail of the veins running through the petals.

Thank you for your comments. It's stange but when I first did this conversion I didnt spend a lot of time on it and thought I had been a bit lazy with it. Now I look at it again I am happier as maybe sometimes less is best! that and some nice posative comments.
