Dear Members,
with Christmas almost upon Us, I take this opportunity to offer a sneak
preview of My Innovative Macro Lens © for those on a Shoe String Budget
or if You Live on Struggle Street like I do.

I just cannot afford a dedicated Macro Lens, anyway, by the time they are
available down under, they are obsolete and past the use by date.

What I use is a Magnifying Glass, which has been purposely built to view
Postage Stamps. Often, when Photographing Bugs, I find that I dont even have
to give them a burst of Hair Spray to keep them still, once they see My big
Eye, they are frozen into submission.

However, there are a few minor drawbacks, particularly on a Sunny Day,
when the Innovative Macro Lens© not only turns into a Spotlight, but
can also set whatever You are shooting on fire! (like the wee flower that screamed and smoked)

Well, I hope You found this wee Tip informative, and the Innovative Macro Lens©
will be just the thing if You forgot to get the Missus a Christmas pressie.

At some stage I will show You My Innovative Hot Box© made from a Paint Bucket
and My Innovative Lighting© that consists of a 2000000 Candle Spotlight and a
Packet of only 29 Vespa Matches.

I had considered placing this in Unusual Accessories ... but am hopeless in
understanding how to get an Image into the Thread and will understand if I am
to be moved on.
ta ta for now,
Cheers Tedz.

Don't knock it, the hairspray idea is wonderful, wonder if it works with a charging rhinoceros, not that we get many of those around here.

Glad to hear that its really a joke, as i dont think burning insects and wildlife and spraying them with hairspray to get a shot quite the norm!!

I'm on your side too...people think I'm weird cause I seldom disturb spiders in my house. I only did the hairspray thing once and that was when I was 14 yrs. have felt guilty and embarrassed ever since. Up until now, I thought it was only my demented mind that was able to cook up such an idea
