first, I want to say that I REALLY like this subject matter...I try for alot of this kind of natural stuff. i would have used a narrower aperature..that way you can get more of the blossom in focus. The focus seems sharp on the far side of the blossom and the petals on this side are out of focus, which is distracting for me. you needed to stand back just a little further, so that all of the petals and leaf remained in the image. When I do these, I still have to take many, many shots to get the best one.

I LOVE this feature, that we can see at what level the artist is at!

you have chosen wonderful lighting for the little beauty and you have shown off all of the wonderful colors without having blowouts.

this is an excellent product from a beginner. When you are beginning it's hard to remember all that things you should be considering but just do lots and lots and after awhile many things will become 2nd nature.

Fay,

You're looking at things that I don't even notice! As a beginner, I really do appreciate your comments and you sharing the benefits of your experience.

Thanks again,
Phil.
