Hi Bev, I always find it amazing the amount of detail you manage to get into your macro shots as well as the sharpness of your subjects. This again shows just that, flies are a pest around here in the summer but you show this one in all its beauty.

IN ADDITION!!!
Bev I think I saw someone ask you if you would do a tutorial or an inside look to how you are getting such razor sharp images. I have a macro lens which I never use but will eventually!!! I think if you had time it would be a welcome addition to the already invaluable info already on this site. I for one would love to see how you do it.

Yes.. Nik mentioned it in his post here, i really dont mind, i can give a theory on how i go about my macro photography and the equipment i use if this can help in anyway...what thread would i put it in

Thanks Genese, and i have to agree it took me quite a while to get used to getting up close and personal with the creepy crawlie kind  and getting the focusing and light correct, but i love it now as much as bird photography,
watching the detail of these tiny creatures and plants that you woud otherwise not see has become a growing fascination...its quite addictive once you start
