I cant make my mind up about this one I think it is cropped a little to close.

The flower on my screen seems to have an hypnotic style effect in that it overwhelms me visually. Don't know if that makes sense lol.

Original not cropped as tight I had some feedback on another site and did a tight crop sorry about your eye!! LOL

Like Nik, I would also have liked a small amount of background showing around the edges.

I do like the image and the brilliant colour ( not so my reactalite specs, which turned almost black when the image popped up on screen)

Thanks Ian one of the 1st images taken when I bought my first DSLR, hand help the flower in left hand and camera in the right!!

quite glorious...really like what the light is doing here, causing shadowing but not in a distracting way..does need a bit more room. The reason for the hypnotic effect is that the outer areas are in sharper focus that the centre..giving a sense of movement..just my take

I agree with Nik, your crop is too tight as you still appear to have sharpness in those petals, so show them off to there full glory.
