Hi Maureen, I like what you were trying to do,composition is good, I like the background, but I don't think that the light did this rose justice.

Black tray worked very well.

Thanks Barry. Will give this experiment another go later when the sun is not so bright and the light isn't so harsh

I love the way you just attack these projects and mostly are always stnners, have to agree with Barry on this one Maureen although im looking forward to seeing the next version, your work always impresses.

Tea tray! you mean to say it wasnt a professional studio production, all been said i think light not perfect and for me didnt like the droopiness of the subject. nice detail though to be positive, did the best you could!

LOL Thanks for the honest feedback Dennis it's much appreciated. I didn't do the best I could it could be much better but will improve for next time
