This is my first attempt at taking flowers like this, I got the idea from Cannockwolf (Dave) with his black perpex as a background.

Serious Critique Required: The photographer has requested he/she would like a more serious level of critique for this image to obtain more constructive critiscism from other members. This is very eye catching and striking, the detail is awsome and the Perpex works perfectly.

Hi Dennis, this is what I used as suggested by Paul. I then just cut along one piece to the middle and made a small hole about 10mm diameter which is just enough to fit the stem of the flower though, then you have a black background around your flower.
