Nice idea Peter. Only suggestion would be more light inside the straws to bring out the colours - more like the few on the side of the bunch.

Thanks folks
I need to obtain a sheet of clear glass say 24 x 24 in to enable me to use a light source from underneath also I was thinking of finding a mirror same size. Set the wife the task of sourcing said items !!LOL

Hewo again. Nice imagination on this one! Apart from the light which already been mentioned, I might have gone into apature mode and selected something like f16 or even higher to get all the straws in focus.

Please do not be offended about this, its something I am learning to! Great image all the same mate

Did mess around with F-stop but the "all in focus" did not look as good as the de-focused shots so went for the shallow DOF
