The detail in this is fab. Can see every feather. I have great trouble getting birds in flight, even with IS on pan mode. Was the owl gliding as no blur at all in his wings? Lovely.

Beautifully captured showing these birds at their best, love the colours and light. Did have jessies on Paul? if it did and you have got rid of them, you have made a terrific job of it.

Shazzer: He was soaring/gliding just above me and coming in to land (not exactly where he should have been, but try telling him that!)

Tawny: Yep, i did edit out the jessies - they just didn't work in this shot

Nice shot Paul, i am not going to ask what a Jessie is! I know what it means in the Black Country and its nothing to do with owls! Really lovely shot mate. Love it

Dare I ask what jessies are? (in relation to birds not the black country kind which I do know about!)
