Kestrel In Flight
Photographers Comments
A kestrel rising from a fence post high on Craigbarnet Muir in the Campsie Fells.
The kestrel had been sitting an a fence post (third one in) while i focused and fired of a shot. At the first click of the shutter it rose, so i kept shooting. Fortunately it kept within my DOF for a couple of seconds! This was the 6th frame, and the only one that really shows the bird to its best.

Sorry, mate. I had a little play around but i can't get away with my trademark skies in this one! It took long enough to pull back the detail in the Kestrel without losing it again in a dark sky
