Default Ringlet Buffterfly

Photographers Comments
Took this last week along the Little Ouse River at Santon Downham in Suffolk, part of the Thetford Forest Park. Have not been out with the camera for what seems like months and wondered what all the buttons were for lol.




Serious Critique Required: The photographer has requested he/she would like a more serious level of critique for this image to obtain more constructive critiscism from other members. Fabulous shot, nice detail. nice blurring in the BG and the greens contrast well with the flutterby (as my son calls them!)

Hi Lorraine, nice butterfly with good detail. Works well with the green background. Good to see plenty of area around butterfly, as I tend to crop in too close and then lose lots of points at competitions as Natural History shots are suppose to be life like.

Like the space around the subject and it does contrast well with it. Really works to catch your eye
