The Green Anolis
Photographers Comments
This is one of 2 Green Anolis lizards that i have obtained through no fault of their own, this one is showing dominance by showing its pewlap under its throat.
Taken through glass with flash.

Ask away Den,
I got a phone call from a local food merchantwhere i get the dog food etc, one of his customers decided he was bored with them and unless he could find a quick home they were going down the pan....literally, and having been interested in the weird and wonderful since a child i decided to take them on, so i now have 2 Whites tree frogs and 2 Green Anolis Lizards, the frogs "Bogie and Boil" as i have called them, they are only tiny but change colours from dark to light green to blue, and the lizards "Zig & Zag" are from nose to tail are approx 7" in length, today i went and got them a nice new Vivarium, they need a UV light and a humid atmosphere,if they dont get a UV they have to have supplements for bone growth, but they are hardy little critters and live happily with frogs, I am totally taken with them and have are very therapeautic to watch, (especially since the footie has been on.
I tried posting a picture of the frogs but iv posted my limit so will post tomorrow.
Thanks Mark & Paul, id really love a Bearded Dragon but m going to learn a bit more about those guys before i take the plunge.

You did right adopting them, Bev. It annoys me when people get "bored" with their pets, and want to do something so inhumane as this
Not sure about you and Denny's lizards but mine apprently live up to around 25 years! Thats gonna be some cricket bill... LOL but they worth it

Wow! thats some longevity tree frogs live upto 6/7 years and the lizards apparently only live about 2/3 years at the moment they are about 6 months old.
