Campsie Fells Rainbow

I was on my way to shoot something else when i saw rain coming along the Blane Valley from the west, and the light was perfect for a rainbow. So i sat on a rock and waited (and got wet) until my patience paid off.

This was created from a four image photomerge. Photographing rainbows is not the easiest task, and creating a panoramic from multiple images brings a few added niggles. In order to get as much of the rainbow to appear as even as possible meant adjusting the polariser filter for each shot, which obviously effects the overall exposure too. I took about 10 different series of panoramics from various positions (this was the second).

Well Your diligence paid off! This is a cracker of an Image! Bravo!

Ah! nothing better to do than sit and wait for a rainbow. You must be retired like me? Very good shot. You caught the colours of the rainbow well.
