Industrious bird working on building a nest- unfortunately it chose a spot around a light fixture in the barn so I may need to discourage his home building project or else just not turn the lights on until nesting season is over. Decisions, decisions.....

Get a portable generator and set up temporary lighting! Difficult with nature i know, only joking mary, like the picture though. Cant ID what bird it is though

Thanks Dennis- the bird is a Barn Swallow-"Hirundo rustica". I decided to leave the nest and monitor the progress. They got a lot done on it yeaterday- worked all day and made good progress- they have a very good work ethic LOL. Mary
