Sunset in North of Hungary

These type of pictures belong to my favorite themes. The sun has some minutes to dissapear under the horison leaving beautiful scene behind itself.

Serious Critique Required: The photographer has requested he/she would like a more serious level of critique for this image to obtain more constructive critiscism from other members. Hi Leslie, i really like sunset pictures so difficult for me to pick any holes in this one. Like the clouds, like the silhouetted subject, maybe a viewpoint slightly to the right would have silhouetted the figure more and made the cross more symmetrical. Love it any way.

Hello Barry!

You see it well. I have been making sunset shots for a long time and I can say not an easy thing. There are a lots of compromises around it. If you wait too long, the sky goes darkness loosing the blue and red style. I don't use tripod for sunset shots because light should be enough for expo by hand. When you have already need tripod the picture does not success, because the sun had already dissapeared and the shot had lost the main point. I rather use tripod for sunrise shots because the situ is revers.
