Heron @ Local Park,

Been out walking to take my mind off things, saw this heron at the local park and after much sneaking about got the shot. Hope you like it, wildlife not my forte really. Let me know what you think.

cheers guys, Phillipa making progress its sandwell valley near my house. Never seen a heron close up (well 200mm lens through a bush)they are quite timid and he was soon off. Go up there to Chill. Surprised you havent been Maureen its only 5 miles from you.

Cheers Mate, there are many sides to the park, this is the end near the main park where there are 3 pools. Further over there is the bird sanctuary and a massive pool (off Newton road) if you are going you are welcome to pop in for a cuppa!! I live 10min walk or 2 min drive from there.
