Default Alex at 17 weeks

Photographers Comments
This is my cat when he was 17 weeks. He would follow me around the house whenever I had my camera to hand, wanting me to take his picture.

A nice image of your cat with a good conversion to B/W. However I feel that the focus would have been more beneficial on the eyes and not the paw, a smaller DoF of around f8. would have allowed this to be a successful image

I have to agree with Phil, eyes would have been my first choice of focus.
The conversion is good with ample range but the image as a whole does not leap out at me. I think the paw is a distraction and not helping the image because there is no forearm, just paw.

looks like one of those celebrity shots where they have the hand pushed up to the camera. In even taming feral cats, I find that they are much more comfortable when I'm playing with the camera..they really are curious.
