more definition needed. It looks a bit 'muddy' As it stands it looks liked a cropped snap.
It has potential though. How are your photoshop skills? You could definately improve this with some carefully planned post work. As it stands, again it is a little flat and unispiring. The image is there, you just have to amplify it.

I'd tend to agree with TC-oh on this one. defo could do with being a deeper, however it looks like it was shot into the light and looking like a candid, not always easy to get the light right in 3 secs flat! love the eyes peering out from behind!!

Have to go with what the boys said about this one..although i love the pose you have captured, if i remember, alot of the enclosures have glass surrounds at Colchester Zoo did this one? as this may add to the lack of contrast in the image.
