Nice one Mary! we have similar looking woodpeckers here, but they are shy little devils and very illusive! so well done on nabbing this shot!

Thanks folks for your comments. The bird has not reappeared yet but I am ready and waiting. I think these birds would be a perfect model for a stuffed toy. They have kind of a comical look about them. Mary
