swans with high pollen

I took this picture during high pollen season. The pollen has settled in the water and made the pond slimy green.

Although the information behind the photo is interesting, I find this photo too busy to the eye. There are too many 'little' focus points in addition to the swans.
Unfamiliar with kodak camera, I would focus on the swans and blur the background manual before exposure or here you could blur background in photoshop to gain a most focused focal point.

Hi awilsher, I have not checked in for a while. Than you for your comments. I have to agree with you about the background being busy. I was just trying to show how bad the pollen is. Art
