I like this Di. However did you get that close to bees. You're braver than me. The background looks a tad over exposed but the bees are nice and sharp

Hi Maureen....I did get close and me with a bee allergy LOL...I find that the bees pretty much ignore you if you don't aggrievate them and these guys were really busy with their feast of pollen!

I see what you mean about the background, I expect it was the full sun...not sure what to do about that.

Thanks..Diane

hey...same works for cats....it's only when you act silly and start making fast movements, that you become an irritable annoyance. I thought you guys were going into winter?....maybe they have bigger fish to fry, than to worry about blondes.

Hi Donna ....you and I might eat our words about the Bee sting thing and being armed with a camera lol ........ I wouldn't go near a hive, even with my camera lol

Fay youre right about us going into winter, this was shot about 3 weeks ago when I was chameleon hunting....those round ball shaped things are now dark berries...isn't nature great?!!! As for the blonde part....at least Tedz bothers us!!!........

....Thanks Tedz

Hi Diane .. an umbrella works wonders .. if you want a bit of shade on whatever you are taking a photo of .. I have a golf umbrella that is really handy ... and covers a bigger area ... Good macro but must agree that it is blown out a bit .. Not sure what kind of a editing program that you are using .. but in some of them you could try to correct it a bit ..
Cheers
Else
