Thanks for the great comments everyone...I'm still not getting updates so it was a pleasant surprise when I logged in here this morning!
Bev, Else and Donna this fly was huge!!! I hope it wasn't saying "help me, help me"!!! LOL
Rob...sometimes my Fuji gives me good results and for the rest it can be disapointing, it definately came to the party for my chameleons though. (any tips would be welcome)

I still use my 9500 - it's light and easy to use. The only problem I find with it is fairly high levels of noise, especially in low light conditions. It seems to be a bit of a general crit for this camera. In bright clear conditions, as in your shot, it works fine - I've taken some pretty good shots with it actually. If I get a noisy shot from it I use Neat Image noise reduction software to clean it up. Best way to check for noise is to put file into Photoshop and blow a clear area (sky) up to 100%. If you see lots of blotchy pixels then its probably too noisy.
Neat Image - best noise reduction for digital cameras and scanners
